Day to Night Spring Transition OOTD

Even though the weather is still cool here in the Midwest, Spring is so close you can almost taste it.   Around this time of the year I love to start incorporating Spring pieces and lighter colors into my outfits.  Last week I did some online shopping at Nordstrom and picked out this top and a few other Spring pieces I’m loving.  Nordstrom has so many adorable new arrivals in right now so obviously I had to stock up on some new Spring styles and items for our upcoming beach trips.  I’ve always been a huge fan of lace and this white top is SO gorgeous.  When I saw the price I couldn’t believe it was under $80 because it looks so high-end.  I’m wearing a size small.  I dressed it down by pairing it with these light-wash skinny jeans.  I love that they’re ankle length and have just the right amount of distressing, they are a bit pricey but the quality is amazing.  I’ve had a few pairs of Rag and Bone jeans in the past and really hold up over time so I don’t mind investing in them.  If you are looking for a new light-wash pair of denim for Spring, definitely check these out!  They run a little small so I sized up one size.  If you follow me on Instagram I’m sure you’ve already seen these neutral slouchy booties because I’ve been wearing them non-stop since I bought them.  They go with EVERYTHING.  Trust me, you need them!

The thing I love about this outfit is how versatile it is.  Most days I don’t have time to change my outfit several time and this look is perfect for running errands with the kids or  grabbing lunch with girlfriends without feeling over-dressed and dressy enough that I would feel totally confident to go straight into a date night with Darek without changing.  I love transitional outfits like this because they make life so much easier!

I’m heading to an Orange Theory class this morning so wish me luck, lol!  Thanks for stopping by, Babes. XO

Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
