Spring Transition Outfit + My Favorite Nude Lipsticks

Happy Monday, Loves! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! We actually had the nicest weather over the weekend so the girls were in Heaven finally being able to play outside. Darek took them fishing in our neighborhood pond which is one of their favorite Daddy/Daughter activities to do!  It’s also the cutest thing ever to watch 🙂

Today I wanted to share this comfy Spring Transition outfit with you guys.  This cardigan just went on SALE for $39!  I paired it with an easy tee (love this peach color), ankle skinnies and booties. I am such a bootie fanatic, Darek always teases me because I have SO many booties. It’s such an easy shoe to wear year round, I even pair them with dresses in the Summer.

I’ve also had a few questions about my favorite nude lip colors so I thought I would share those with you here!  I will probably do a YouTube video about this as well but wanted to share a few of my faves with you!  A nude lip is something I wear almost everyday, especially in the Spring and Summer months.  I’ve tried SO many different brands but some of my all-time favorite shades are from Mac!  Crème Cup, Pure Zen, and Angel are a few lipsticks I always have on hand. I typically like to pair nude/pink colors with a darker nude lip liner to define my lips (warning: this can get out of control Janet Jackson 90’s if you aren’t careful so make sure to blend your liner really well, ha!) I love my Mac liners in the shades Whirl & Spice! Also, the Smashbox Always Sharp liner in Medium Nude is awesome because you never have to sharpen it.

Brynleigh and Brielle are both off of school today so our weekend continues!  The girls and I were planning on doing something fun outside but we woke up to a fog advisory so we may be changing up our plans a little bit.  I hope everyone has a fabulous day!  Thanks for stopping by! X0x0

Casual go-to outfit

I have always *loved* dressing for comfort, especially after having kids! I would describe my style as pretty casual most of the time. With it still being pretty cold here in Indy you can usually find me in distressed jeans or leggings on any given day. Of course I love to get fancy sometimes and I love dresses, especially in the warmer months! We go to church every Sunday so that’s typically my “dress” day.

However, nothing really compares to an awesome pair of comfy jeans, white tee and sneaks!  I love this pair of distressed skinnies! They’re only $48 and super flattering. I’m *really* picky with jeans so it takes a lot for me to say that. Trust. These Adidas Superstars are just so comfortable and add a touch of cool to any outfit in my opinion! This type of look is definitely one of my favorite “momiform” looks. It’s just so easy to throw on and run out the door for errands with the kids! I hope you all are having a fun week!! Thank you so much for stopping by! X0x0

The Best Neutral Cardigan (under $60) and Booties

Happy Wednesday, loves!  I hope you all had a happy Valentines Day.  We had a super chill night at home with takeout and a movie which was actually so nice and relaxing!  We have been crazy busy around here today (I’m writing this as I’m running out the door to take my girls to dance) I wanted to share this casual look I wore last week with you all!  First of all, I’m a huge fan of cardigans– especially this time of year as we’re heading into Spring. It’s still chilly here in Indy and an open cardigan is a great way to stay warm and still show off your cute outfit (instead of covering up with a heavy coat)! I think I wear an open cardigan or some type of cardi at least twice a week, haha! This one is less than $60 and I’ve been wearing it a ton! I paired it with my favorite thermal tunic, skinny jeans and some open-toe booties. I mean, can we talk about these booties?! I’m obsessed with them! I LOVE a good neutral pair of booties and these babies are so comfy!  I love that they could be easily dressed up or down!  Thank you so much for stopping by!
